About:
Laurie Tone is a member of BBC and serves as the Behavioral Health Consultant at Siloam providing mental health services in a primary care setting. Siloam is a faith based volunteer supported clinic for uninsured, low income people from the greater Nashville area and nine surrounding counties, 80% of which are foreign born. The goal is to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of each patient and to share the love of Christ by serving those in need through health care.
• Medical Ministry: physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, physical and occupational therapists, radiologic/X-ray technologists, etc.
• Clinical Ministry: patient hospitality, interpreters, behavior health specialists, social workers, donation wish list
• Pharmaceutical Ministry: pharmacists and PDAP
• Pastoral Care Ministry: pastoral care, prayer intercessors, prayer walkers
• Education Ministry: speakers, volunteers
• Hospitality Ministry: work with refugees, bake foods
• Arts Ministry: Help with knitting, music, photography, art, and scrapbooking
• Development Ministry: Writers, editors, storytellers, event planners, and fundraisers needed
